Hello! We are the organizers behind Moth Market. Our names are Emily and Minda. We have been vending together at different events for multiple years now and we always thought it would be cool if there was a local oddities show to cater to the weirdos like us! So we decided to make one ourselves.

I (Emily), have two modes. Either I am decked out in my favorite colors- 99% pink- or I am in mostly black. I am a huge fan of all things dark and creepy and I’m a sucker for anything that is *aggressively* pink. My step mom, Minda, is a goth girlie at heart and is now showing it on the outside too! *round of applause for self expression!* She of course, also loves all things dark and creepy and finds peace in her morning puppy pile naps after getting the kiddo on the bus.

Our goal with Moth Market has always been to create a space where our fellow weirdos can feel at home while supporting our amazing vendors who put their heart into creating and curating the coolest of things.

The first Moth Market was in October of this year (2024) and we were blown away with the amount of people who came out and the super sweet things that people had to say. We only really encountered one hiccup in the day when parking got tight but, message received, Springfield! Our next venue (even though we loved working with the lovely people out at the Wherehouse Bar) will have lots of parking!

We are incredibly grateful to you all and have already met some amazing people in our community. Ever since I started to vend, I have felt more and more comfortable in these little communities that we love. We have vendor friends that we love to see and catch up with as well as some of our customers. I have taken a very kindergarten approach to making new friends at events and because of this, I have a lot of great people in my life that I most likely would not know otherwise. My hope is to help bring some of you amazing folks together .
